# Turn a long video into short vertical clips

Give the good bit a video of its own.

Turn a longer recording into something people can follow in a feed. Bring the point forward, frame it for a phone and add captions for viewers watching on mute.

videoFn is a Mac video editor that Claude or ChatGPT can drive. Describe the video, watch it come together in the preview and give notes. If you'd rather fix something yourself, the editor is right there.

## Make the short version stand on its own.

### Start with the good bit

Lead with the point worth sharing. The lead-in gets trimmed, and just enough context stays for the clip to make sense to a stranger.

### Make it work on a phone

The agent reframes for vertical and times captions to the voice, then checks the text and framing so nothing important ends up behind the like button.

### Try another opening

Preview the clip and ask for a different hook or pace, or adjust it in the editor, then export the size you need.
